NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 10^th, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. the City of  Lindsborg Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 101 S Main St, Lindsborg, KS 67456.

The purpose of the hearing is to consider an application for a Special Use Permit filed by Dwight Swisher and Jon Alkire to allow for Specific Use, of an auto repair/mechanic shop.  Motor vehicle repair shop means a building or portion of a building, arranged, intended or designed to be used for making repairs to motor vehicles.

The subject property is located at 102 S Main St and is legally described as follows:

LINDSBORG O.T.S., S17, T17, R03, CA NE/C LT 67 FOR POB TH S 50' W 74.7' S 10.5' W 5.2' S 0.5' W 20' S 20.7' W 8 5' N 81.7' E 185' TO POB City of Lindsborg, McPherson County, Kansas.

All interested persons may appear at the public hearing to be heard, express views, or submit evidence in support of or in opposition to the proposed Special Use Permit. Written comments may also be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Department at comdevdirector@lindsborgcity.org or mailed to 101 S. Main St., Lindsborg, KS 67456 prior to the date of the hearing.

A copy of the full application and site plan is available for public inspection during regular business hours at 101 S. Main St., Lindsborg, KS 67456 at the Community Development Office.
