As the temperatures begin to cool, now is the perfect time to plant a tree. Fall planting allows trees to establish strong root systems before winter and gives them a healthy head start for spring growth.

Did you know the City of Lindsborg offers a Tree Cost Share Program for all residents? This program helps homeowners add trees to their property while enhancing the beauty, shade, and long-term health of our community.

If you've been thinking about planting a tree, this is a great time to get started. Contact Parks Director Noah Flores at noahf@lindsborgcity.org or City Hall at 785-227-3355 to learn more about the Tree Cost Share Program and find out how you can participate.
