KDOT announces new projects entering construction pipeline

This week, the Sundstrom Conference Center hosted Governor Kelly and Kansas Department of Transportation staff for the announcement of a $442 million investment in highway projects throughout the state, These projects have officially entered the construction pipeline of the Eisenhower Legacy Transportation Program (IKE Program). One of those nine projects is the grade separation/overpass project on K-4 at Bethany Drive. The construction letting date is set for the state fiscal year of 2029 (begins July 1, 2028) with $11 million estimated for the project and all funding going through the state.
