On August 18, 2025, the McPherson County Commission approved Resolution No. 2025-16, authorizing a special question to appear on the November 4, 2025, ballot. 
Voters will be asked to consider a one-half percent (0.5%) county retailers’ sales tax dedicated to: “Funding certain improvements to the capital equipment and facilities and general operating expenses of emergency medical services.”
