Early April, we contracted with Blast it Clean to provide a service to sandblast and paint the Lindsborg City pool. This process has been done in the past but never to the extent that we contracted for this go-around. Previously, we have had problem areas sandblasted and then painted over existing paint. This has resulted in a buildup of layers upon layers of paint.  What is different this time, is that Blast it Clean is sandblasting the entire pool down to the original concrete and giving it a fresh coat of paint. The expected life span of this project is 10 years with a warranty on the first 5.

Essential upgrades are aimed at improving the quality, safety, and longevity of our pool facilities. While we had hoped to have the work completed by our original opening date of June 2nd, unforeseen challenges and the nature of the work have pushed the timeline back slightly. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all visitors, and this maintenance is a key part of that commitment.
