2024 is gearing up to be an important, and busy, election season both locally and on the national scene. Here are some important dates and details to keep in mind so you don't miss your chance to exercise your right to vote.

Some key dates for election season:

• May 21: County-wide special question election regarding 1/2% sales tax for hospital funding;
• Aug. 6: Primary election; and
• Nov. 5: General election

The county-wide hospital special election on May 21 also has some important dates and info:

• April 30: Voter registration deadline;
• Party affiliation and party affiliation changes are not necessary for this election;
• May 1: Advance voting begins;
• May 14: Last day to request a ballot by mail; 
• May 20 at noon: Advance voting ends; and
• All regular voting sites will be open in Lindsborg (see below)
