The grand opening of the Alma Swensson Memorial Garden is set to take place on April 29 at 11:30 a.m. in Swensson Park.

The public is invited to attend this event that honors one of Lindsborg's most beloved and recognized figures. The ribbon cutting is scheduled to last about 30 minutes and people who played important roles in making this project come to life are expected to attend.

• Mayor Chuck Shultz will do the honors with the ribbon cutting
